She headed back into the bedroom and noticed a strange machine with goggles and headphones next to the bed.
She put them on, compelled for some reason, and flicked the switch. There was suddenly a clicking noise, after which she took them off. A man was sitting on the bed nearby. Jen was surprised to realize that she found him very attractive.
"Feeling better...dear?" He said, awkwardly, as if he was a bit unused to the word.
