I pressed the nearest button. The one with a squiggly "Z" and an eyeball design in the middle.
The machine hummed loudly and faded away around me and vanished completely, leaving me free from being trapped inside but also very much alone in my room again, with no transformation machine and no magic wishing stone!
I realized I must have sent the machine away off to some other dimension without me or perhaps pressed a self destruct button that simply vaporized the machine, minus its now very much confused former occupant.
