Silas did not waste any time and said "Quick! Remember the chant I taught you!". The children joined him in a powerful chant and white chains rose from the circle before pinning him down. The incubus grunted lightly as he was forced to the ground. Xanoz was naked. I could see pale red stripe wrapped around his left ankle up past the hips and ended at where his heart would be. He had one ram horn on the right side of his head. Its spaded tail lashed back and forth angrily. Silas smirked at his sucess and said "We did it! You listen to us now Xanoz. I have a job for you". Xanoz looked around the cellar and his eyes landed on mine. He looked questioningly at me. I just shrugged and he looked back to Silas. "What would you have me do?" he asked. Silas said "I want you to slaughter every person in this village aside from us. I assure you they all deserve painful deaths for what they did to my father and you'll do it to them". Xanoz chuckled from his position and looked into the boy's eyes. "What will you give me for this?" he asked. "All of our souls are yours!" Silas answered with no hesitation.
Once again, he looked at me and smirked. Xanoz said "I take it that you are the representative for the group gathered here and that you speak for them. Is that the case here? I want to be very clear". Silas said "I am the representative. We all agreed on this beforehand". Xanoz said "If you wish it, forge the pact with me". Silas nodded and used the dagger to cut into his palm. "By my blood and my free will, I offer you this pact. Mighty demon do as I command and complete our bond. The incubus sat up and said "I have heard your call and I will answer it. I will gladly take this pact and much more besides". The circle flashed a blindingly bright shade of blue for a second before it disappeared. I received a popup telling me about a perk I received. It said "Demon Pact. This allows you to control a demon until its HP reaches 0. It will function as a companion and do its best to complete any non-suicidal task until it dies". I was shocked at the turn of events. I did not want an incubus following me around. There was something wrong about it.
The demon stood up and looked at me. "What would you have me do, Mistress?" he asked with a formal kneel before me. Silas walked up to him and said "I already told you. I want you to slaughter every person in this village aside from us. Go do it already!" Xanoz sighed and his hands reached out for Silas' neck faster than either of us could react to. "Shut up human! The one I serve is the one who spilled the blood. You are nothing but my prize for service". He looked like he could not believe what was going on. "You said it yourself. You are just the representative of everyone here. You are not my Mistress. You are my food. In fact..." he trailed off as he pulled Silas in for a deep kiss. The human was powerless to resist him. Right before everyone's eyes, all the life and vitality was sucked from his mortal body. When he dropped the husk, everyone in the room could tell Silas was dead. The children ran in terror, but the were all caught and killed by the incubus. I frowned as I looked at the carnage in front of me. They were just kids at the end of the day.
Xanoz asked me again what I wanted. I shrugged and said "Silas was the one who wanted to summon you. If I had to make a request now, I would say make me the god of this village. Or something like that". The demon just smirked at me and said "Easy. I can do that in about a day, Mistress". He then then walked up the stairs with his arms behind his back. I followed and he turned back to me and said "A god has to have a purpose if they want to be worshipped. Fertility? Childbirth? I don't think a weak lillin like you would make a convincing war goddess". That was true. I was only level 1. There was a limited number of things I could do. I did not have much to offer the village other than sex at the moment. But would that be selling myself short? I could get stronger with time. However, when we got to the top of the stairs, he fully turned to face me. He had a smirk on his face. Xanoz obviously wanted an answer on what type of god to become. I closed my eyes and racked my mind to think hard on what I wanted before i opened my eyes. I knew what I wanted.
