Jon stepped in only to notice that strangely, the place was full of fog. That was odd--the men's locker room was never like this, and he'd never seen fog coming from the women's locker room before either.
He looked around for the source of the fog and spotted a sink, which was near the entrance. Someone had turned on the hot water and put some kind of sprayer on it. It just sprayed the water back into the sink, but the hot water was enough to make a thin layer of fog when the moist air hit the colder air coming from outside.
Then someone slapped him in the face.
"Imagine that!" said one of the girls. "He came here again!"
"What?" said Karyn. "Jon?"
"Yeah. It's a terrible thing to always be invisible and silent, but that's no excuse for him to use it to peek on us! At least we can see the hole in the fog when he tries that."
Three girls grabbed him, one by the waist and one on each arm. Jon was so surprised that he didn't even resist and soon he was dropped outside. Then the door slammed shut.
Of course, realized Jon. If he wishes for something it's as if it had always been like that. Those girls thought he had always been invisible, and had plans to catch Jon just as they would have if Jon really had been invisible all along....
