Andy (who now thought of himself - herself - as Andi) approached the other little girls cautiously.
One of them spotted her and skipped merrily towards her. "Hi, my name is Wendy. What's your name?"
"Andi," she responded.
"That's a pretty name. I like it. Wanna play?"
"Uh ... sure."
Wendy smiled, then hopped back towards the other girls.
