The chamber door opened and the clone emerged, completely naked.
Jon wasn't sure how to describe the clone. It was truly a mix of two genders. It had the body frame, long hair, and large breasts of Karyn. But it's hair color was brown (like Jon's) and clearly had male sexual organs. The male/female person also had Jon's more masculine arms and legs. They weren't as muscular as Jon's, but much more than Karyn's. Jon figured that the clone was pretty athletic.
Since they only specified DNA for the clone and hadn't chosen what kind of mind it would have, the machine had chosen for them. And in this case, it was a blending of the minds of Jon and Karyn.
The male/female clone stepped out of the chamber and said "Could someone get me something to wear? I'm freezing my ass off here." It was strange. The clone seemed to have Karyn's voice, but it talked the way Jon did.
Jon gave the clone one of his T-shirts and it put it on.
"Uh ... how about something to cover up my junk," the clone said.
"Oh," Jon said, grabbing a pair of his underwear and giving it to the clone.
"Thanks," it said, putting it on.
"Do you have a name?" Karyn asked.
"Of course I have a name. It's Jaryn," it said, grinning.
