About five minutes later, Karyn's 12-year old sister Megan and her 19-year old brother Joseph showed up at Jon's house.
Jon opened the door and they walked in.
"Karyn?" Joseph asked, frantically looking for his sister.
"Here," Karyn replied.
He walked up to her. "What was the emergency? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," she said.
"Then why did you say to hurry? What's going on?" he asked.
"Okay, Jon," his 15-year old Goth sister Zoe said, walking into the living room. "What the fuck did you want?"
His 10-year old brother Mikey walked in too, plopping down on the sofa next to Megan. "Hi, Megan."
"Hi, Mikey. Do you know what all this is about?" she asked him.
He shook his head.
Jon looked at Karyn, who nodded to him.
"Okay, let's get started," Jon said, as he held up the merging device, ready to shoot them.
