"I have an idea," said Joy. "We can't reverse a wish with another wish. But suppose we reversed it ourselves?"
"What do you mean?" asked Alison.
"We change ourselves so that we don't look like we did back then. Once we do, the wish that we look like that is already reversed. Then we can wish for anything we want."
"I don't understand."
"Think of it this way. The wish can't change you from looking like that, to not looking like that. That's reversing the wish. But it can change you from not looking like that one way, to not looking like that another way. If we dye our hair, or cut it, or wear something different, or shave, or something like that, then we won't look like that. The wish should then work."
"How much different do we have to be before the wish thinks it's different enough that it counts?"
"Beats me. Let's try."
