"Please, Jon. I don't want to go back to being a teen again," pleaded the 25-year old Karyn.
"You were a teen just a minute ago," Jon said.
"It feels like eight years to me," Karyn said.
"Sorry, Karyn," Jon said, changing the years on the device from 25 to 17. "But I have to change you back. I mean, how am I supposed to explain this to everyone ... you being older all of a sudden?" He pulled the trigger.
"No!" Karyn yelled, as her body was engulfed in an eerie blue glow, just like before. Then she began to grow younger until she was back to her normal teenage self. And when the glow was gone, she blinked and looked at herself. "It didn't work, Jon. I'm still a teenager."
"What are you talking about?" Jon asked. "You were 25 years old for the last two minutes. Don't you remember?"
"No. All I remember is you shooting me with the device and that weird blue glow. But other than that, I don't remember anything happening."
