"I actually had something else in mind," Karyn said.
"What?" Jon asked.
"I was thinking about possessing an animal. Maybe a dog or a bird? I always wondered what it would be like to be a bird."
They left Jon's bedroom and walked downstairs. Jon's little brother Mikey was in the living room, watching a cartoon, and his sister Zoe and his mom were in the kitchen. From the sound of things, they were in a heated argument, as always. This time, they seemed to be fighting about the fact that Zoe just got her nose pierced without their mom's permission.
Karyn was in such a hurry, to get outside and use the device, that she tripped on the bottom step of the stairs and accidentally set off the device in the process. She immediately disappeared, causing the device to drop to the floor.
But who or what did she now possess?
