Jon left his room and went to Zoe's bedroom to see how his sister had changed.
The first thing he noticed, when entering her room, was that her bedroom looked a lot more pink. And pink was a color Zoe hated. The second thing he noticed was that she still had a gothic lifestyle, despite the fact that half her personality was now from Sarah, who hated Goths. But it seemed that she wasn't quite as entrenched in the lifestyle as she was before. The fact that there was more pink in her room than the usual black might have been a contributing factor. Another factor may have been the increased number of stuffed animals in her room. The third thing he noticed, when entering her room, was Zoe herself. She was dressed similarly to the way she usually did, except for the fact that she wore mostly pink and purple. Zoe hated pastel colors. But Sarah loved them. It seemed that in that arena, Sarah's personality had won out.
Noticing that someone was in her room, she turned and yelled "What the hell are you doing in here? Get out!"
Jon stumbled backwards and closed the door on his way out. On the way back to his room, it suddenly hit him that his sister didn't use the word "fuck", like she usually did when she was angry. Jon had never heard Sarah use that word. She had used many others, but not that one, at least not in public. Perhaps that was yet another aspect of Sarah's personality that had won out?
