"I know you had something to do with this, you witch," Zoe spat at Sarah.
"It's hard to imagine you knowing anything with that limited intelligence of yours, you fucking ditz," spat Melissa, who now wore a black T-shirt over a ripped fishnet shirt, a black leather miniskirt, fishnet stockings, and black knee-high buckled boots with three-inch stacks (nothing at all resembling how she looked just a minute ago).
"Hey, Zoe," a voice suddenly said. Jon's sister turned and smiled at another girl who was approaching them.
Jon nearly did a double take. It was Kyla Leeson. But instead of looking like a stereotypical geek, she looked like a stereotypical prep. In fact, she looked like what Sarah and her friends looked like before they turned into Goths.
Kyla strode over and put her perfectly manicured hands on her hips. "What are the freaks doing here?" She even talked like Sarah and her friends.
"I'm sure one of them made all the guys go away," Zoe said. "I mean except for my brother. I was just interrogating them."
"We didn't do anything," Tiffany said.
Zoe crossed her arms under her breasts. "Yeah, like I really believe you."
Jon looked around. It was obvious that all the girls had changed in some way. He wondered how Karyn had changed.
