Sarah stepped forward to a microphone that was set up in front of her, pulling a large bin with her. "We have put the name of everyone in the class into this bin. Being the only player allowed to stay on the football team, after the others have been dismissed, my boyfriend Biff will pick the names of our new football players."
The students began yelling, some stating that this process was wrong and asking if they intended to force students into this ... just like they had earlier during the cheerleader tryouts. They were also wondering why so many football players had been "dismissed".
"No one will be forced into anything," Mr. Blankman said. "Everyone on the team will be there because they want to be." Some of the students thought it was odd that the football coach answered that question the same way, almost word for word, as Ms. Holloway had. But they just shrugged it off, thinking it was just a coincidence, not at all thinking what was actually happening ... that Ms. Holloway and Mr. Blankman were, in fact, the same person.
"Okay, let's get this over with," Biff said, stepping up to the microphone. With that, he reached into the bin and pulled out the first name. "The first pick is ..." Biff started.
