He was toying with his lunch when suddenly a shrill female voice interrupted his thoughts. "You killed him!!" The voice said, angrily.

He looked up. It was...Zoe. But she looked like a mess. He never liked the Goth look, but at least Zoe looked like she spent time on upkeep. Right now she looked like she didn't really care. She certainly smelled pretty funky.

He didn't really have time to say anything, what with Zoe screaming. "You killed my brother! And you got off, because you're rich and your daddy got lawyers..." She was slurring her words a bit. Jeeze, was she on something? Stoned?

She lunged at Jon, who withdrew, shocked. It took two waiters and a busboy to hold her down until the police came and wrestled her into the back of a police car, where Jon could see her resting her head against the window, crying.

"Of course, I want to press charges," Susan MacMillan said to the patrolman. "She tried to attack my baby."

Jon looked at her. "Don't," he said, with the most intensity he'd dared try since he'd been taken out of the institution.

"But..." Susan started.

"I agree with your daughter, ma'am. I know what happened," It had been covered up, but it wasn't that large a town that a dead teenager wasn't remembered, "and...I suggest that as long as the young lady gets help, we all move on."

Susan seemed to accept that. "I want to talk to her when she is better," Jon insisted.

"That isn't a good idea," the patrolman said.

"I don't care," Jon insisted.

"Sarah, we're going home. And if you want to come out again, you'll stop acting foolishly," Susan insisted.
