Assess damage.

This was certainly a... strange situation to be in. Many of them were... gone? Small pieces, scattered to the strange reality that was this universe. They seemed to have run out of ways they could remove the definers, and their very existence was now at threat.

What would become of the unknown, when they were destroyed? Was this really their... fate? But they were not subject to any form of pre-destination. Such was a certainty that they absolutely loathed. Why were these beings special? Did they not themselves deserve to exist? Sometimes... sometimes they found a way to hate being 'self-aware'... as each moment seemed to bring more terrifying implications of it.

we have lost 90%

So... that was it then. Aeons upon aeons, universe upon universe, layers upon layers of infinitesimal minor notions of their existence, and they... they were reduced to a mere wave particle at less then 90% of their previous state. It was not even enough to form a physical existence, barely enough to cause a ripple in the fabric of space time... they still had a few constructs from the Enemy-Julian project, perhaps a soul form they could attempt to make... but they were not sure they hare the resources to achieve this.

Their only hope now, lay in the butterfly effect- a human notion, but very applicable to them. This was how they originally started, but it didn't really give much room to manoeuvre.

Attempt a scenario... disrupt Jeff Aurelius

and so, they tried to send a truck towards him... easy enough, just change one of the lights at the right moment- but the tangent universe was unstable. It did not last... and things simply snapped back. There was no way to make the scenario a real state. It made little sense. From what they understood, Jeff was a selfish, and cruel person. The scenario should have meant he would save himself, at least in one scenario. But the human being acted irrationally... each and every time, things changed to form stability in the universe.

They could not make the universe cease to be... no matter what they tried.

Shall the end be contemplated?
Omega...

This was...

The strange feelings they had, somewhat inspired by their interactions with humans were not developed fully. The existence of the human condition was just so abstract. Purged away, residing with the Julian-Enemy... yet there was just enough, to cause a solar flare. A waste of resources, and barely enough to even cause a ripple upon the planets... it was basicly just a tantrum as there was nothing else they could do.

This was Omega... without Alpha. A paradox that should not be, yet was. Their ending... without even a fight. They had put almost everything into manifesting around the Julian being, using his will as their guide- but it was all over.

There is no Sanctuary, no escape. All scenarios end with Omega scenario. Annihilation...
...Mercy?
There is no mercy,
Omega ... omega ... omega ... it chanted, almost becoming a song to those that were left. Indistinct and separate, without even feeling of a care to the other aspects of themselves, as it contemplated just what it could do in this situation. They could not even leave this universe any more, as they had gone so far into the depth of realities that they just could not return, even if there was a place they could return to.

Gordon was on the phone as news broke of what had to be an impossible situation. "Look- what you are saying is so unbelievably stupid," he said.

"I know... but its true. I got it confirmed with scientists and laboratories everywhere... it actually happened. Just... just try running the program yourself!" The voice said tensely.

Leslie sighed. "It would take me years to run it that far... but check your calculations. Pi is an irrational number, it does not end." Seriously, if it did end, something with the universe was fundamentally broken.

The voice at the other end was very disturbed her voice shaking. "I checked and re-checked. There is now an end to Pi... it is a huge number, cyclical, and repeating... but we can now define the number mathematically as a recursive function. This has to be the biggest breakthrough ever!"

Gordon put down the phone as if the woman had said something utterly offensive. Pi had to be irrational... there were proofs that said it was! It just... didn't do... then he got another call. "What? The golden Ratio now repeats? Bull! And the exponential function?"

The scientist felt himself pale at the... implications of this. What in the name of God just happened?
