Zoe yawned, after waking up to the sound of her alarm. Had it already been an hour? She shook her head, then got out of bed and headed out of her room. She was hungry, so she headed towards the stairs to go down to the kitchen for some breakfast.
But as she walked through the hallway, she stopped when she saw her family portrait on the wall. Instead of her, Jon, Mikey, and her mom, it was her, Athena, Zelda, and Agatha Pierce. Except...there were differences. Agatha looked much older...old enough to be her...Then what she said to the man earlier that morning came back to her. Agatha looked old enough to be her mom. She was even dressed more maturely.
Zelda looked to be Mikey's age, and...well, normal. Athena looked to be older...maybe Jon's age. She still looked like she had the same fashion style, but it seemed...toned down a bit. Zoe was the only one in the picture who looked pretty much the same as she expected.
That nut at the door had done it. She wasn't quite sure what to do about it. She headed down to breakfast.
Linda Pierce woke up from a strange dream. She'd dreamed she had three children. But that was nuts. She was only twenty-six, and way too young to have kids. What she was, however, was going to be late for work. She ran for the shower.
