As the apple continues to glow, Jon can't help but try to understand the significance of this development. "Just what does this mean? Does it have something to do with what it did to Mike, Biff, and Mitch?" he asks as it continues to glow in his hand.
It starts at the school tech lab where Mitch and some of his other AV friends are bickering about movie remakes when suddenly Mitch feels some strange feeling swell up inside of him and he lets it out when he accidentally makes one of the computers explode. "What was that all about?" someone in the room asked.
As much as they normally would've scared Mitch, the fact that he was the cause of that happening gave him a bit of a rush and felt great, almost like he wanted to keep doing it.

In one of the hallways where Biff was chatting with some of his teammates on the football team, one of the less popular kids walked by and Biff decided to humiliate the kid.
However instead of tripping him which was what Biff was known for, he shoots out a weak arcane bolt which sends the kid flying down the hallway much to the amazement of his friends. "How'd you do that Biff?" one of them asks.
Biff just grins and runs his hand through his hair. "Natural talent." he says as he walks away.

And as Mike is walking down the hallway, he starts to feel thirsty. And that's when all of a sudden he finds himself conjuring water out of thin air which becomes a tiny stream which shoots into his mouth and he swallows. "Wow, when did I learn how to do that?" he asks himself as he continues on his way.

At this point, Jon just stuffs the apple in his backpack and decides to head to class.
