Robert died as he slid down the shaft. That was one nuisance taken care of. I dropped the spear and bowed to Baron Clearheart. He was pleased with the result. On the other hand, Oscar was devastated. I was taken to wash the blood off of me and then I joined them from breakfast. It was really tense as Oscar could not stop crying. "It is going to be a pain to get your aunt and uncle here to retrieve the body. He should be tended to and then brought to the capitol right away." the baron said to him. Oscar flinched and then nodded. "I guess that I will have to take him along with me on my way back." he said. After the meal, I asked to talk with Cassandra. She hesitated, but it did not take long before she nervously nodded. We went to the sitting room together. I wanted to look at her and see if there was something we had in common. First, I asked her if she had any hobbies. Cassandra liked to listen to music and poetry. I liked some music. I asked if she knew how to do art. I could do some sketching and watercolor painting. She did not know about watercolor painting. It was oil based here.

I took some paper from the piano and a pencil and asked her to stay still while we talked. Cassandra raised an eyebrow at me. "Are you seriously going to just draw me." she asked. I smiled and nodded. "Just stay as still as you can. I'll do the rest." I said. "... A-alright." she responded. It was obvious that she would not be expecting much from me. That was fine with me. She would be amazed at the end result. I began to sketch her as she talked about her childhood. As the third child, she was pretty much the tomboy of the family. Free spirited and outspoken, Cassandra would go out and see what would happen in the barony. As a noble woman she needed to be escorted places. She would go with one of the younger knights. "Eren's practically the best type of knight. Clever, polite, secure in his manhood enough to listen to a woman, and strong to boot." she sighed wistfully. Going to see people gave her an idea about the concerns of the middle and merchant class. She runs into conflict with her eldest sister, Juliet sometimes. It was a bit stressful, but they still loved each other very much.

Since they were not as rich as other nobles, she needed to live within her means. It was a big time hindrance. She was hoping that if they were forced to leave the castle that she could be with Sir Eren. That was not going to be happening now though. It was a very nice story and I could tell that she really loved her life and her family. That was something that I really liked about her. Her smile was beautiful, and I made sure to capture it in my drawing. It made it even better than it was before. When it was done, I showed the picture to her. Cassandra gasped and looked at it closely. "This is pretty.... Is this how you see me?" she asked. I nodded. "This is how you should see yourself. I loved listening to your story. It only added charm to the sketch." I praised as I stood up to stretch. I was laying it on a bit thick, but I did want to impress her a bit. It's not every day that you get to talk to a noblewoman 1 on 1 like this. This had to go well. Especially after showing how vicious in battle I could be. I hoped that the contrast would be interesting enough for Cassandra to give me a chance. Time would tell.
