Jon found Alan in the living room, watching the news in the nude. He put his arm around Jon when Jon sat down next to him. Jon wasn't paying attention to the news, content to be cuddling with the man he loved. Just then, Alan started talking.

"Do you want children, Jon?" he asked.

"Yeah, I guess so," said Jon. "I don't know how we're going to have any, outside of adoption. We are a gay couple." Jon kissed Alan. It felt strange to Jon, romantically kissing his own father, but he supposed that in this new reality, it was normal.

"Adoption would be fine," said Alan, kissing him back. "But having our own children would be better. That's one of the main things I miss about the divorce." Alan didn't talk about the divorce much. Alan was bisexual and had known it since he was young. He had dated both boys and girls before marrying his wife. He still desired sex with men and occasionally had a minor affair with a particularly handsome stud.

It was getting caught in an affair that ended the marriage. Jon had recently come out that he was gay. The family supported him. It was good to finally have someone in the house that he could talk about cute guys with. Jon was casually going out with Pete, one of his gay friends from school. Alan's wife was out of town and Alan invited the man he was seeing over for the weekend. But when Alan's wife came home early and caught them naked together, divorce followed soon after. Jon stayed with Alan, while Zoe and Mikey went with their mom. Over the course of the next year, Jon and Alan fell in love and got married. It was so strange, marrying someone he had fathered. But they were in love and that was what mattered.

"So how do you propose that two men have babies together?" asked Jon. He had some ideas, mostly involving the stone, but he wanted to hear what his dad had in mind.
