Frankly, it would be easy for us to hide out here. It would not be hard to retreat from non-natives to the area either. The caves were deep enough in the mountain that you would not be able to get readings from the precise Infared and Radar imaging they had. There were some other operatives helping us out here too. I counted 6 of them in total. As we settled in, they were able to introduce themselves to us. Both Saeed and Saleet El-Tamer were male twin dancers that entertained in the biggest tavern in the city at the foot of the mountains. Taaha Al-Sami was a goatherd. Adeeba El-Faris was a female assassin and Nameera Al-Dhaki was a good midwife and herbalist that served as a doctor to the Lunusaris rebels. Apparently, they were a patriarchal culture. Most people did not want a female doctor. However, most of the doctors in the community were atheists. The ones that were religious were not down for aiding and abetting a violent Lunusaris rebellion. Nameera was willing to help them. Beggars could not be the choosers and let her attend to them when extremely sick or wounded.

Incidentally, she probably had more experience as a physician and surgeon than most of the local doctors in the city. Whether that meant that she was actually good was still to be seen. We were all giant plane-people, so we could not go down to the city and hang out with them. They would go get the leader over here and he would arrive the next day with what they wanted us to do for them. Probably attack targets and fight battles in the air. There was a lack of things that we could do. None of us here were bombers, for example. They left us and we were able to look in the caverns. There were some old equipment and cases of older Ixiti guns further in for the humans to use. We were on stand-by until the leader came. The leader of this region's rebellion was a man by the name of Adeeb Al-Radi. He was followed by his brother, Taaha and Adeeba. "Thank you for coming here, friends. We have much work to do. Sultan Haani El-Aziz sits upon a throne of lies and oppression." he opened up with before telling us his name. They wanted to pray and we let them. Maybe I would convert if I won.

Getting up from the ground, they told us what they wanted us to do. The rebellion was taking the east by storm. However, the capitol was on the west of the country. The technologically advanced country of Oplixo shared a very small, 45 mile border to the southwest. That was were the enemy aeromorphs were coming into the kingdom from. That was how they were locking down the western half of the country. It seemed that with a single squad of 5 aeromorphs they were able to pacify the capitol and 4 major cities in the northwest and southwest. One aeromorph was enough to hold down a city. It had been found out by spies they were planning to take on the eastern half of the country in the upcoming weeks. Our first task was to split up in pairs and take the aeromorphs out in 1 go. Us Alphas were paired up together. So were both of the Deltas. My P01 Beta was paired up with P02 Zeta. That left P01 Gamma and the already scowling P02 Epsilon. The P01 series was to control the skies and provide communication support. It was the P02 series members that would do all of the fighting.

Having a nice rapport with P02 Alpha already, we were ready for the mission. He viewed me as a playful rival. I was fine with playing that up to get a rise out of him from time to time. We both knew that it was nothing serious. It was clear that we were friendly with each other. I did not like Epsilon at all. Alpha seemed to notice and would try to talk him up whenever he came to his mind in the conversation. I shut him down every time it happened. There was also a very clear effort from Zeta to speak very positively to Epsilon on my behalf. I never asked her to do this. She probably was trying to see why he was not able to properly breed her. It was up to him to tell her. I made sure to stay clear of Epsilon during in the stay in the cave. Us Alphas were going to fly to a city called Abushawai. Mastooha, Taimi and Sufahan were also going to be hit to take out the aeromorphs there. "Are you ready for this fight, Alpha? If you need to pull out, you can tell me and we'll jet out of there." I asked. I did not want to see him die. He scoffed and said "Like I'd lose to 1 aeromorph in a dogfight. I am ready!"
