Rising in the East, the sun was just about to rise. I searched the sky for them. Instead, Benson pointed over at the entrance of the fort. Will was wearing a heavy white cloak that covered his head and face. The 2 of them were on a horse. "Let us meet in Epic City. I called out to them." I did not know if they heard me, but they went off at a gallop. I could only hope. "We need to get out of here too." I said to Benson. "Yeah! This is fucking crazy!" he snapped. We then made our way on the roads to the city on foot. I was not letting him sit on my back. We had to deal with some more bandits and mobs, but that was okay. "I can't believe you were working with those vampires over there!" he grumbled. "Well that tends to happen when humans try to beat you up for no reason." I shot back. That shut him up. I was never going to let him forget what he did. When we got to the city, Benson and I went our separate ways. I went to Liam's house and knocked on the door. After a few knocks, he answered the door and let me in. "Is Will okay?" I asked. He nodded and said "A little burned, but it's all fine."
It was fine to stay there for the day, but I wondered whether they would be safe tonight. When I brought it up, he said "Will said that we were going to another country. It's going to be easier to fly when the sun goes down." "Are you really sure that you want to go with him?" I asked seriously. He just shrugged and said "Why not? It's about time I got to go on an adventure." I sighed and said "You better be prepared. Do you have weapons and food here to pack in your bag?" He rolled his eyes and said "Of course." We spent the time together until the sun set. That was when Will came up and smiled at us. "It's time to go. Wesley is probably already on his way here." he said with a smile. They gathered their things and opened the door. "If you want to find us, we'll be in the vampire city of Uvania." Will told me. They then took off. I decided to loot their home for anything valuable. I could sell it on the market and make some good money. I needed to make several trips. On the fifth trip back to the home, I was in centaur form. Wesley was standing in front of the door. He turned to look at directly me.
Stupidly, I just walked past him as if I was trying to go down the street. He just appeared in front of me. Wesley did not look too impressed. "I already saw you using this form, dumbass. I rode on your back." he said. I shrugged my shoulders. "Worth a shot." I said. No NPC was going to get me stressed out. He just sucked his teeth and looked at me. "Are you going to tell me where those guys went or not!?" he demanded. "Probably not. Maybe if you had some money to give me, I would think about it." I said. He gave me an incredulous look. "I can tear your throat out right now." he said. "No you can't. This is a city full of adventurers and guards. If you attack me here, the whole city will be after you. You need to keep a low profile." I told him. He looked around him and saw there were indeed some people walking around. Wesley backed off and said "So what do you want? I don't have money for you." he said. "If you're broke, the least that you could do is take me with you." I told him. He looked skeptical at me. "You wanna come?" he said. "It might be interesting. What do you say?" he said.
Under normal circumstances, I would expect him to deny me and move on by himself. Instead, he smirked and said "You're one crazy Pulser. I bet all that venom's gone to your head." I just looked at him. "Aren't you going to transform. I can't carry a horse on my back." he said in exasperation. I became a half orc again. "That's more like it." he said. I went behind him and wrapped my arms loosely around his neck. "You're going to have to hold on tighter than that!" he said as his arms became wings. His takeoff was jarring, and we were suddenly in the air. I held on tight as I felt my stomach drop. It was exilerating as we looped around the city before he turned his head to me slightly. "Where did those 2 go!?" he demanded. I looked at him and his eyes turned red in anger. "It's bad enough I have to carry a Pulser around! We have to catch them before they get too far!" he spat. "They said they were going to go to Uvania. Apparently, its a vampire city." I said. His eyes returned to normal out of shock. "Those idiots! Uvania is only for noble bloods and their slaves." he said. "Let's warn them." I said.
