"Mom," the girl said. She reached over and touched Charlie's hand. Suddenly, he felt a strange sensation all over his body (or rather, the mother's body). And then the girl's eyes went wide.
"What's going on? How is this happening?" the girl frantically asked.
Charlie didn't know what was going on. What was that weird feeling he had? Why was the girl acting strange all of a sudden? And most importantly, how did he wind up in this woman's body in the first place?
The girl looked around, as if not understanding where she was, then she opened the door and ran down the sidewalk. Charlie watched her accidentally bump into a woman just thirty feet from the minivan. Fearing that she might be hurt, he got out of the van and ran over to her.
The woman she bumped into grabbed her head, then looked around. "Mom? Where are you?" Then she looked down and saw ... herself?
The girl stood up from the ground and looked up at the strange woman. "Julie? It's me. Your mom," the girl said.
"Then who's that?" the woman asked, pointing at Charlie, who was running towards them.
