Mostly the discord is used for discussing episodes with other readers and writers, in a way that the forum...honestly lacks.
Additionally, there's a section for reporting any bugs, as well as areas for anyone who needs editing assistance or just wants some feedback. It's evolved quite a bit from it's original incarnation.
