Karyn seemed to accept that, and Jon relaxed as they entered the mall and he followed Karyn toward the food court.
A group of friends that Jon recognized were waiting for them there. Jon froze as he spotted...himself? chatting with Pete. The other Jon saw them and smiled, and moved toward them.
It was weird seeing his body moving toward him. But he was Janelle, so someone had to be Jon. There was no indication that Janelle remembered anything had changed.
He looked Jon up and down, very subtly. He didn't look half-bad. Jon moved past him to Karyn, and to Jon's shock, leaned in, and kissed her. "Hey," other Jon said.
