Mikey handed Jon the Coke he had gotten from Mrs. Wilson, an old lady who lived across the street. He knew that there were no Cokes in his family's refrigerator, but he had seen a bunch of Cokes in his neighbor's refrigerator. It was the last time he was over there - he went inside after mowing Mrs. Wilson's yard. He needed something to drink.
"Uh, thanks," Jon said, grabbing the can from him.
Then Mikey began to walk back to his room. But before he entered it, he heard Jon say "Mikey, be president of the United States."
After walking into his room and closing the door behind him, Mikey suddenly had a flash of inspiration. When he grew up, he wanted to be the president of the United States. He decided then and there that that would be his ultimate goal in life. I will be the president, someday, he thought.
