Jon put the stone back in the hiding spot underneath his bed (where he put other things he wanted to hide, like extra money and dirty magazines). He didn't want to bring it to school with him and risk losing it.
He stood back up and decided to spray himself with the "potion", but suddenly he had the urge to use the bathroom. He'd rather not hold it until he got to school and since the bathroom was just across the hall, he decided to take care of it right now.
After setting the "potion" bottle next to the sink, Jon took care of his business. Then, after he was done, he checked his watch. "Shit, I'm gonna be late," he uttered, in a panic.
He quickly washed his hands, then ran to his bedroom to pick up his schoolbag, then he rushed downstairs and out of the house. He didn't even have time to eat breakfast.
In his rush to get to school, he completely forgot about the "lust potion". It was still sitting next to the sink in the bathroom.
