Linda was extremely frustrated by the time she finished her first day of school. Rather than just be doing some remedial math courses like she thought, they'd made her go to all of Jon's classes! She'd had to muddle her way through history, English, biology etc. and all the while she was worrying about Jon covering for her in the finance department of McMillan Industries. Most of the students had given her a wide berth, but thankfully Jon's friend Karyn had stuck by her side, helping her navigate Lakeview Academy. Still, she was dreading having to go there everyday while she worked through her remedial math work.

To top it off, she hadn't even been able to go straight home after the terrible day was done. Instead she'd had to take a taxi over to the address Jon had texted her, taking her to New Beginnings Salon. She'd never seen the salon that Ms. Fine recommended before, but they seemed to expect her. She really didn't want to part with her shoulder length brunette locks, but a deal was a deal. Instead of trimming her hair in a conventional manner, they'd lowered an odd sort of helmet onto her head that emitted a low humming noise as she felt a prickling sensation over her scalp.

"Our technology actually removes and transfers your hair at the living root, letting it continue to grow once it's transplanted to the recipient," the stylist had explained. "Does that mean I'll be bald?" Linda squawked. "Only momentarily, I believe in your case it's a reciprocal transfer so you'll be leaving here with a fresh new look."

An hour later, her hair had been entirely removed, and she just sat awaiting Jon. Eventually she heard the tap of heels and looked up to see Jon entering the salon, a smile on his face. "How was your day at school, sweetie?" He asked as the stylist guided him into the seat next to her. "It was ... fine" Linda bit out, not wanting to admit to finding it frustrating. "More to the point, how did things go at work?"

"Oh, splendidly," Jon laughed, "Peterson loved me and we made a lot of progress on next quarter's projections." Linda was startled, Peterson was her boss's boss and she didn't think he thought much about her one way or another. It was surprising that Jon had made so much of an impression. She was glad that Jon hadn't seemed to screw anything up, if a little annoyed he seemed to be doing better covering her work than she was at school.

Susan McMillan blinked in confusion, where had the time gone? She felt like she'd just sat down to chat with Ms. Fine a few moments ago. Getting up, the socialite put a smile on her face as she went to lead Sabrina and Jay to the guest bedroom. It had been a strange suggestion to let two students from Sarah's school move in temporarily, but the Cleaner made good points. She and Richard were worried about growing apart, and maybe if the house was less empty they'd interact more. Besides, it was the least she could do while Sabrina and Jay's parents were out of town.

"Feel free to make yourself at home, and if you need anything, just call for Sarah.

Zoe hummed cheerfully to herself as she tidied the house in advance of their company arriving. They were planning to put Biff in her old room, moving Linda to Jon's room, while Gwen could take the guest room with all the kid stuff in it. Hearing the door she looked up to see Jon and a sulking Linda come in the door. She had to admit, Jon looked great with his new longer hair, but Linda seemed less than pleased with her shorter cut.

"Good your home! Could you help me vacuum the lounge? We want to make a good impression for our guests."
