"Everyone in this village has five minutes to stand before us or get destroyed. A new god has appeared before you. Come and listen to her speech" his voice boomed from his body. I was sure the whole village was able to hear him. The villagers began to stumble out their homes. When the five minutes had elapsed, he landed and knelt at my feet. He gestured to me and said "This is your new goddess. Hear her".
Everyone focused on me and I could tell they were terrified. I said "I am Azzollol. I am your new god of fertility. I will lead you to prosperity if you build me a big shrine and worship me". I then looked at Xanoz and said "This is my servant, Xanoz. He will be your god of the hearth. Build him a shrine and worship him as well". The incubus looked surprised for a split second before he smirked and stood up. They looked scared and nodded. "Where is the carpenter?" I asked. One of the men were shoved to the front of the crowd. He was shaking. "Since you are the carpenter of the village, I want you to build us the shrines. The first ones can be a bit small. After you make one for each us 5 feet tall by 5 feet wide by 7 feet deep, Make a shrine the size of a house for us to live in" I commanded. He nodded and ran off. The rest of them were still standing around. "The rest of you can kneel and, I'll hear your pledge of allegiance and fealty". Most of the crowd did so, but there were about seven that stood defiantly.
Xanoz looked at me. I nodded and he leapt into action. He ran to each of them and ripped their throats out. The villagers all cried out in terror as they watched the bodies hit the floor and the red blood out out from the gaping wound seeped out in puddles. They began prostrating themselves furiously. I could feel myself get tingles all over. I was gaining exp for standing among them. It was nice to know. I let them go back to their homes and told them that they were not to leave until the morning. When they were alone, I took Xanoz back to the house Silas used to live in. The incubus eyed the bed as soon as he stepped over the threshold. "If you want to take a nice break, I can pleasure you. I am your servant, after all". I gave it some thought but I shook my head. I just wanted to read some more spell books and lay down on the bed. That was exactly what I did for the next few in-game hours. When I was done.
