Instead of heading to her class (which she was already late for), Karyn headed towards Jon's class. She knew that he had Miss Robertson's class for second period, so she headed there.
Imagine her surprise when she saw Steve Farber enter that class. Steve was in her class during this period. Why was he going to Miss Robertson's class instead? She walked up to the classroom door (which was shut, since class was now in session) and peered in through the small sidelight window. She watched as Steve apparently began teaching the class and the teacher Miss Robertson sat behind one of the desks, as if she were a student.
